1. When was BiMBA founded? And how about the students admitted?
BiMBA was founded in April 1998, and it held its opening ceremony on June 29, 1998, for the first group of students in the China Center for Economic Research at Peking University. The first admission was very competitive. More than 430 applicants competed for 60 seats in this program, and most applicants are senior executives of famous multinational corporations and domestic companies. Dr. Ernest Scalberg, Dean of Business School in Fordham University, presided over the interview. In his assessment, students in BiMBA are fully compatible with the students in any top business school in America. (Please browse Student Composition Breakdown and Students' Homepage.)

2. Is a GMAT score required to apply for BiMBA?
Yes. BiMBA offers all the regular MBA courses completely in English except for some Chinese case studies, thus requiring students to have a solid ground in English listening, speaking, reading and writing. GMAT measures general verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills that are developed over a long period of time. It is designed to help graduate schools of business to assess the qualifications of applicants for advance study in business and management. GAMT scores are used by nearly 1300 graduate management programs throughout the world, and about 850 schools require GMAT scores from each applicant. BiMBA has decided to use GMAT as one of the admission requirements. Admission decision is not only based on the test score, but also on the undergraduate transcript, various achievements, working experience, recommendation letters and the English interview.

3. What if the applicant does not have a GMAT score?
GMAT score is a prerequisite for the application. Applicants are required to submit GMAT scores together with other documents required. There is exception only for those who are of extraordinary qualification and do not have GMAT scores for time reason. Even such applicants can only get a conditional offer, which requires them to submit GMAT score above 600 before the class starts.
