Student Background
BiMBA part-time students hold medium or senior positions in multinational companies and average 8-10 years working experience. Some students are from the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc.

Activities
Student Clubs: BiMBA clubs, which include Management Club, Marketing Club and Finance Club, are seeking "live" case studies, research projects for faculty and students, and students internships in both China and abroad.

Student Newspaper
As another effort to develop real world experience, the student newspaper BiMBA Herald is published.

Forums
Studying together with talented and experienced classmates is a very valuable opportunity itself. This forum could help students to share their expertise and learn from each other. Giving lectures at Peking University is certainly a good opportunity for our students to meet challenges, and to practice their presentation skills.

Cross-cultural Activities

Cutural Program-Do business in China from cultrual and historical perspectives
BiMBA has prepared a special cultural program to orient you into Chinese environment. As you may already know, doing business in China is inseparable from the unique characteristics of Chinese culture, history and mindset. Therefore, BiMBA prepares the approach of "experiential learning" by leading you to the field sites and introduce to you some influential thoughts of Confucius and SunTzu (the author of The Art of War). A team of experts on Chinese economics, culture and history will accompany you along the field visit. We sincerely hope this cultural program will help pave the way for your personal and professional development in China and at BiMBA.

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is a world class centre for its concentration of teaching and research across the full range of the social, political and economic sciences. Founded in 1895, LSE has an outstanding reputation for academic excellence.  Ever since its establishment, LSE has nurtured thirteen Nobel Prize winners, and five of them are in economics, such as Friedrich von Hayek (1974), Merton Miller (1990), Ronald Coase (1991), Amartya Sen (1998), Robert Mundell (1999).  
BiMBA opened The LSE-Peking University Summer School in 2004.
Harvard Business School
During the cooperation with Harvard Business School, Michael Porter designed the course of Microeconomics of Competitiveness and wrote the cases for the course.
